Studies indicate that regular cardiovascular exercise improves strength of both mom and baby. Exercise benefits you and baby by minimizing weight gain, boosting energy levels, improving posture, and can help you prepare for delivery. Regular strength training exercises may even shorten your labor and assist in a faster recovery after your baby is born.
Small group prenatal fitness is perfect for you if you are expecting, are comfortable exercising, looking for cost-effective professional guidance, and camaraderie with other expecting women.
During each 50-minute session, you will learn safe and effective exercises to practice throughout the stages of your pregnancy. Small group training is limited to three to four women per session. Our trainers tailor the workouts to meet the needs of all fitness levels and stages of pregnancy and provide the personalized attention you need.
If you are NOT currently active during your pregnancy (“active” defined as participating in 30 minutes of moderately intense exercise, two to three days per week), you are required to work one-on-one with an AMC trainer at least once prior to registering for Small Group Prenatal Training.

5 training sessions: $175 ($35 per session)
10 training sessions: $330 ($33 per session)
• A 5-session pass is valid for 6-weeks effective the first date you attend.
• A 10-session pass is valid for 12-weeks effective the first date you attend.
This is personal training in a small group setting. Participate as frequently as you like. Designated training time must be reserved on AMC’s registration and scheduling website. Space is limited to three women on weeknights and four women in each Saturday timeslot. We reserve the right to cancel a session two hours prior without sufficient attendance. Participants must obtain a clearance from their physician prior to beginning an exercise program.

HOW DO I GET STARTED IN SMALL GROUP PRENATAL TRAINING?
- Email or call AMC to verify that we are accepting new participants.
- Schedule a 30-minute training appointment. All participants are required to participate in a 30-minute session with Coach Cassandra to assess your fitness level and ensure the program is right for you. A fee of $25 will apply. If you enroll, the $25 will be credited to your account.
- Obtain a waiver from your healthcare provider stating you are cleared to exercise. (You must provide waiver at 30-minute one-on-one session.)
- At your assessment, Coach Cassandra will give you instructions about registering for a pass and scheduling/reserving space in training sessions.
